Terms of use for Nuvocue
1. Provider and scope
The provider is Oleksandr Makovetskyi, Kleeblatt 64, 42119 Wuppertal (“we”). These terms apply to the use of Nuvocue (web app and website). Users’ own terms do not apply. [check: consumers and/or businesses]
2. Service
Nuvocue is a teleprompter for short videos that runs in the browser. The free plan (Free) covers the teleprompter, recording several takes and storing scripts locally on your device. Features marked “soon” are not yet part of the contract. [check]
3. Account
You do not need an account for the basic features. To sync scripts you sign in with a link sent to your e-mail address. You are responsible for access to your mailbox. Minimum age: [check, e.g. 16].
4. Prices and payment
Free costs nothing. Pro currently costs 5 US dollars per month [check price and currency before launch]. Payment runs through Stripe, monthly in advance. We are a small business under § 19 UStG; no VAT is shown. [check]
5. Term and cancellation
Pro runs month by month and renews automatically for one month. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. [check] The right to terminate for good cause is unaffected. You can delete your account at any time.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from conclusion of the contract. The right can end early if you expressly agreed that we start the service before the period ends and confirmed that you lose the right of withdrawal once the contract is fully performed. 7. Your content
Your scripts and videos belong to you. We take only the rights needed to store and sync your scripts. We do not upload videos. You are responsible for making sure your content does not infringe third-party rights.
8. Acceptable use
Do not use Nuvocue for unlawful content, attacks on the service or automated bulk requests.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for stable operation but do not owe a specific availability. [check: set a figure] We may change features where reasonable for you and will tell you in advance about material changes. 10. AI features (soon)
Planned AI features produce suggestions. They may be wrong or unsuitable. You review every text before using it and are responsible for publishing it.
11. Liability
We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breach of essential contractual duties, liability is limited to foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise it is excluded. [check]
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for the future. We will tell you at least [period, e.g. 30 days] in advance. If you do not object, the new terms apply. [check: validity under §§ 305 ff. BGB]
13. Law and dispute resolution
German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. We do not take part in consumer arbitration (see Impressum). [check]
